Carly for California expelled FCINO, exposing Tom Campbell as the Fiscal Conservative In Name Only. Since his flip-flop in to the Senate race, Campbell has been job himself the mercantile regressive formed upon his time as the part of of Congress scarcely dual decades ago, anticipating which electorate will omit his new await for some-more supervision spending, increasing borrowing, the billion taxation travel as well as the 32-cent gas taxation increase.

As any conservative would know, this advertisement is a HILARIOUS waste of money. Are we calling our voters “sheep”!? What the heck is that leather-faced, lightbulb-eyed thing crawling on hands and knees? (It doesn’t look like a “wolf in sheep’s clothing…”) And is the ad trying to suggest that what we really need is…. another sheep? I don’t think I could vote for someone who is associated with such an embarrassing advertisement! Wow…
Demon sheep – too funny.
@nunoftheabove Would you mind explaining the logic of all that again in as clear and simple as terms as possible for someone who hasn’t read “Haruki Murakami”?
Specifically: “Partly because the Sheepman is contradictory & not as simplistic as represented here. Partly because the ad exposes its own manipulation.”
This is the funniest political ad I’ve ever seen. They can’t be serious.
The demon sheep are the damn Democrats.
Hahaha
Apparently, none of the makers of this advertisement realized what “fiscal conservative” actually means.
It means a balanced budget, or in other words the state of CA spending as much as it’s taking in in taxes.
I had no idea politicians in America were this stupid
no wonder your whole country’s budget is going down the drain, with political illiteracy so high that not even official primary candidates can tell what basic concepts mean.
“who would remember that was the tom cambell budget”
we would [PUBLIC EMPLOYEES]
[no one else cares]

There is a cheaper rate for ads where the candidate speaks as at least part of the time on the ad itself and, I think, has to say they approve of it.
Carly doesn’t do cheaper. (That would be, sssshhhh, fiscally conservative.)
Carly has put in millions of her own money, her HP payoff. She can afford not to appear in her own ads.
He is the sheepinator.
Even if Carly wins, he’ll be baaaahhhhhhhhk
So, tea, do you prefer the sheep or the demon sheep as your congressional representative?
Brilliant ad.
Campy.
The people who were in charge of producing and directing this video are obviously FOR Tom Campbell. Anyone who has read Haruki Murakami, to whose novel this ad alludes, would know that the sinister sheep, wrested straight out of A Wild Sheep Chase, is an unpredictable and less than trustworthy figure. The use of the sheep will backfire on Fiorina. Partly because the Sheepman is contradictory & not as simplistic as represented here. Partly because the ad exposes its own manipulation. Brilliant!
I really think you’re correct about this; I’m pretty sure either the advertising company or the television/media production company who were in charge of making this were really for Tom Campbell, and have absolute loathing for Fiorina. But the people who made this are really smart and cultivated as well, considering their allusions to Japanese literature.
This was the greatest campaign ad ever! I am definitely voting for Carly Fiorina! She has my vote!
And Tom Campbell is a lying, demon sheep! …..and I’m sure he eats babies for breakfast.
I’m not voting for him, in all likelihood, but Tom Campbell is a loyal, longtime, extremely fiscally responsible Republican. This video blames almost all the economic woes of California on Campbell’s role in a position where he had no power and control over any of the factors leading to it.
To criticize him for this imaginary role reveals how ignorant — or cynical — Firorina and her campaign are.
this ad is for US senator, so this will not affect state taxes, fees or fines.
the only way for federal taxes to be reduced would be to cut defense spending drastically. no one would ever promise or attempt this.
Oh, yes, and the implication that conservatives are sheep is quite insulting.
The word “literally” is used way too often, and this ad gives more examples. Why is it that when people mean “figuratively” they say “literally” instead, which means exactly the opposite?
As for the substance of the ad, although the ad is MST3K-worthy, it does indeed give me pause about Campbell. But the idea that conservatives should support a Jesse Jackson Republican like Fiorina can be charitably described as risible.
Cute sheep, tho.
This ad is DISTURBING!!
LOL
that’s scary & sick
Hands down the funniest commercial I have ever seen
I 2nd that emotion. You’re funny!!
Everyone viewing this is also reading how 9.5 out of 10 people commenting on it are pointing out Carly’s past failures of nearly destroying Hewlett Packard and leaving with a huge payoff or are commenting on the mean-spirited abysmal joke of a decision she has made in the past week by running with this “campaign ad?”.
The good news: Millions of people have seen her campaign ad
The baaad news: Millions of people have seen her campaign ad
The worst: She can’t put that Genie back in the bottle.
I love how, in the end, they’re still calling everybody sheep.
