it is a karate kick, it is not a thai kick because there is not enough rotation into it, is is mostly a mix between the roundhouse thai cick and the “wipped” Karate kick (or kickboxing, as you prefer)
still he has a great tecnique, he’s probably the best heavywheight with cicks similar

Isn’t getting your opponent down enough winning? I agree with Labaizs. But hey, it’s the fighters choice to get in the ring.
Never liked this type of fighting. The kicking and punching while your opponent is down is so unsportsmanlike to me. It’s just flailing your arms around against your opponents head. Getting him down, is where the sport is to me.
CroCop IS very very powerful though. Credit where credit is due.
It’s not coward, it’s Mixed Martial Arts. You’re allowed to do so. Win however you can.
